About this template
Overview
Tenpenny is an invoicing app for people who bill by the job: carpenters, handymen, painters, cleaners, landscapers, and freelancers who work the same way. It opens on what is coming in and when, drawn as one line of every unpaid invoice, and on what needs the person today: a late invoice to remind, an estimate waiting for an answer, a draft to finish.
Invoices and estimates are drawn as paper that reads at a phone's width, in three styles. A note typed on the job becomes a draft priced from the person's own items, and anything without a price waits for one. The client gets a link to a page they open in any browser, with the person's own payment link; Tenpenny never takes a card or moves money.
Key features
Overview: what is coming in, the due line, what needs you today, this month against last
An invoice as your client sees it, with its history: sent, viewed, part payments, reminders
Draft from a note (AI): lines priced from your items or your note, the rest waits for a price
Estimates: valid until, accepted online by the client, converted to an invoice once
The client's page: the paper, a Pay online button with your link, Accept or Decline
Record a payment: the amount on a keypad, the method, part or in full
Reminders (AI, Pro): friendly or firm, never a fee or a threat
Reports: money received by month, what is still owed by age, top clients, tax charged
Paper style: Ledger, Studio or Plain, with an accent
Screens

AI and backend
Supabase keeps each person's business, clients, items, invoices, estimates, payments and job photos, readable only by their owner, with the rules in the database: numbers given out once, totals and tax to the cent, payments never above the balance, the free plan's three sends a month, one invoice per estimate. The client's page reads one document by its link and records a view; an estimate's answer is taken once. Everyone starts as an anonymous user; an email with a 6-digit code keeps the records on a new phone.
One Edge Function runs two AI tasks with Gemini against a daily allowance: Draft from a note (the note, item names and prices, and client names are sent, never contact details) and written reminders (Pro). The server keeps only prices the person gave, and a reminder with a fee, interest or a threat is refused. Nothing is sent before the person allows it once.
Monetisation
Tenpenny Pro through RevenueCat, yearly with a 7-day free trial or monthly: unlimited sending (free: three invoices a month), reminders written for you, Ledger and Studio papers with an accent and a logo, more drafts a day, and reports for any year with CSV export.
Records, not advice
Tenpenny keeps your records. It doesn't give tax, legal or accounting advice: tax rates are the ones the person enters, the AI never sets a price, a tax or a due date, and reminders are drafts the person sends from their own mail.

Set up after you fork
Your copy opens with the AI assistant that built it. Do the steps in order: connect what a step asks for under Server, then send each prompt.
Connect Supabase and run the migrations
Server › Backend › Supabase, then the two migrations in name order. Turn on anonymous sign-ins in the Supabase dashboard.
Prompt for the AIConnect this app to my Supabase project and run every migration in supabase/migrations in name order. Then tell me to turn on Authentication › Allow anonymous sign-ins and to put {{ .Token }} in the Magic link and Change email address templates.
Add the Gemini key and deploy the functions
Server › API keys & secrets: GEMINI_API_KEY. Deploy supabase/functions ai, paper (JWT verification off) and revenuecat-webhook.
Prompt for the AIAdd my GEMINI_API_KEY under Server › API keys & secrets with AI_FREE_UNITS_PER_DAY=3 and AI_PRO_UNITS_PER_DAY=50, then deploy the Supabase Edge Functions ai, revenuecat-webhook and paper, with JWT verification off for paper.
Publish the web app for your clients' page
Publish › Web app gives the address of the page clients open; set it as EXPO_PUBLIC_PAGE_URL so every invoice goes out with its link.
Prompt for the AIAfter I publish the web app, set EXPO_PUBLIC_PAGE_URL in .env to its address so invoice and estimate links open the client's page.
Set up Tenpenny Pro in RevenueCat
Server › Monetization: the entitlement pro, a yearly and a monthly subscription, and the webhook to the revenuecat-webhook function.
Prompt for the AISet up RevenueCat for this app under Server › Monetization with the entitlement pro, a yearly subscription with a 7-day free trial and a monthly one, and point the RevenueCat webhook at the revenuecat-webhook Supabase function with REVENUECAT_WEBHOOK_SECRET.

Support policyQuestions
Is it free?
Copying a free template costs nothing, not even credits; a Premium one is a one-time purchase per website. Chat changes and builds use credits.
What do I own?
You own the app made for you. The template’s code stays InspireUI’s and is licensed for use in your apps (Terms › Our intellectual property).
Do I need to know code?
No. Ask the assistant for changes in plain words; the full source is there when you want it.
Does it come with a backend?
No. A full app names the backend it needs and you connect your own under Server; a design runs on sample data.
Can I change the design?
Yes. The Design tab sets the brand colour, colours, fonts and corners at no credit cost; the assistant changes the rest.
Which plan do I need to publish?
Creator or higher builds and uploads to the stores, with your own Apple and Google accounts. A Premium template’s app builds on any plan once its website is connected.
Can I download the source?
Yes, with Download source or Push to GitHub, once your workspace has bought a plan, credits or a paid template. A Premium template’s app also needs its website connected.
What if it was made with an earlier FluxNative?
Your copy works as it is. Ask the assistant to update it for newer features such as app languages and currencies; it is the last setup step.
