FluxNative vs Anything
Anything (formerly Create) and FluxNative both write React Native apps and upload builds to TestFlight and Google Play internal testing. They differ on data, store accounts and code access.
The short answer
Choose Anything if you want one hosted service with a database, sign-in and a web app built in. Choose FluxNative if you want your data in your own Supabase, Firebase or Appwrite project, to connect the stores with API keys instead of an Apple ID password, and to try it on a free plan.
Key differences
Backend
Anything includes PostgreSQL with dev and production copies, sign-in and backend functions. FluxNative connects your Supabase, Firebase, Appwrite, Cloudflare or your own API and creates the schema there.
Store accounts
Anything uploads to TestFlight after you sign in with your Apple ID, and to Play (in beta). FluxNative connects an App Store Connect API key and a Google Play service account once.
Free plan
Anything's docs say building requires a paid plan. FluxNative's Free plan includes welcome credits to start an app and preview it before you pay: a first look at a simple app. A full first version usually needs a paid plan.
Code and agents
Both export a .zip. FluxNative also pushes one way to your GitHub repository; Anything does not sync to GitHub yet. Anything has a CLI (rolling out to some accounts) and a REST API. FluxNative's remote MCP connects Claude Code, Cursor and other clients on paid plans.
When Anything is the better choice
- You want the database, sign-in and hosting included, with no other accounts.
- You also need a web app on the same backend.
- You would rather sign in with your Apple ID than create an App Store Connect API key.
When FluxNative is the better choice
- You want the data in your own Supabase, Firebase or Appwrite project.
- You want to start an app and preview it before you pay.
- Your developers use Claude Code, Codex or Cursor and want MCP access.
