Data and payments

Data and backend

Photos go to a storage bucket the assistant creates; an Edge Function sends them to the image model, holding its key as a secret, and a credits table records each spend.

Payments and store rules

Credit packs and Pro unlock digital features, so both sell through store purchases, set up on Google Play and in RevenueCat; AI calls cost you per image.

A first prompt to send

Send it as it is, or change the details to match your idea.

Build an AI headshot app: pick a style, upload a few selfies, check each photo before spending credits, get a set of portraits to compare with a before/after slider, and buy credit packs or a Pro plan. Call the image model from a Supabase Edge Function, never from the app.

Frequently asked questions

Which AI model edits the photos?

Any image model your backend can call over HTTP. The Glimmer, Hearth and Verdant templates call Gemini from a Supabase Edge Function, billed by Google, separately from FluxNative credits.

Can the app refuse photos it should not edit?

Yes. Glimmer asks for consent once and checks each photo before it spends credits, refusing minors, public figures and explicit photos.

Can I sell credits instead of a subscription?

Yes. Credit packs are consumable in-app purchases; Glimmer sells packs and a weekly or yearly Pro through RevenueCat, with a credits ledger in Postgres that refunds a failed image.

Which app will you launch first?

Start with a prompt, images, or Figma. No credit card required.
